We all have things that we enjoy taking photographs of, and we also have things that we enjoy looking at in photographs. When you are trying to find your place in the photography world, it is important to keep this in mind. Someone might find that your photos are not interesting, but this doesn’t mean that you aren’t a good photographer, it just means the actual photographs aren’t their thing. Find your audience, and find what you love to photograph the most and that is where you will place yourself.

Key Takeaways:

  • Your photography skills are determined by how you see the world and what your interests are.
  • Make a list of what your likes are and of those likes which ones you would want to photograph
  • Your audience will be determined by the type of photos that enjoy taking so your audience will like them as well.
