I grew up with photography my whole life, my father worked for Kodak and it was always just a part of my everyday. When I began my career as an architect, I was able to take in much more than others because of my experience with photography. Some ask how I made the leap from architecture to photography, to me there is no leap. When I look at photos I see it for what it is, and I am able to capture the true essence of it in photos.
Key Takeaways:
- Photography has always been with me, even at a young age because my father worked for Kodak.
- When I take a photo, I want to capture the true essence of the person I am photographing.
- Lighting is an important aspect to any photograph because you will want to have it just right.
“You have to have mastery of light, space, composition, beauty, surface, texture, emotion, experience, meaning, moments, and history.”
